Partnership Proposal with Diaspora for African Development for Enhanced Diaspora Integration and Development

Dear Diaspora for African Development (DfAD),

The Ghana Diaspora Advocacy and Resource (GDAAR) Foundation extends greetings and expresses strong interest in establishing a strategic partnership with DfAD. We admire your organization’s work harnessing the potential of the African Diaspora to drive the continent’s sustainable social and economic development. Our missions strongly resonate with one another.

About GDAAR Foundation

GDAAR Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to the smooth reintegration of individuals of the Ghanaian diaspora, as well as other diasporas interested in connecting with Ghana. We are driven by a belief that bridging socio-cultural, spiritual, economic, and legal hurdles is essential for successful transitions, empowering individuals to maximize their potential contributions to Ghana.

Our Services

We offer a range of support services, including:

Pre-Arrival Support: Information on Ghana, visa assistance, and logistical aid
Relocation Assistance: Housing, education, employment support, and financial guidance.
Transitional Support: Counseling, support groups, and connection to essential resources.
Residency Assistance: Guidance on navigating rights and responsibilities.
Alignment with DfAD

GDAAR Foundation’s objectives seamlessly align with DfAD’s commitment to facilitating skills transfer, building bridges between diasporas and local stakeholders, and promoting diaspora-driven development. We believe that a strategic partnership could significantly benefit our endeavors and the diaspora community at large:

Knowledge Sharing: Collaborating with DfAD would broaden our access to your extensive expertise and network, enhancing the quality of our support for diaspora reintegration.
Joint Advocacy: Combining our voices would amplify advocacy efforts aimed at favorable policies and support systems for the Ghanaian diaspora, bolstering their contributions to economic development.
Project Collaboration: Partnership with DfAD offers the potential for joint initiatives focusing on diaspora-driven entrepreneurship, skills development, and targeted assistance programs.
Invitation for Partnership

We propose an introductory meeting to discuss specific areas of collaboration, explore potential projects, and establish a framework for information sharing and resource pooling. We are eager to learn more about DfAD’s work in Ghana and to identify where our efforts could synergistically advance our common goals.

Together, we can create a vibrant and supportive environment for members of the diaspora seeking to reconnect with Ghana and contribute meaningfully to Africa’s advancement. Thank you for considering this opportunity.

Sincerely,

Joseph Bekoe,
Executive Director.
