We were unable to obtain a visa for my daughter while we were in the states. We made arrangements to receive a visa on arrival and everything went very smoothly. We are so grateful to have had the ability to receive her visa in Ghana to allow my daughter to travel with us and serve at GMAD.
We were let down by the High Commission in London, who waited until the last minute to inform us that my daughters Visa would not be processed because her passport had expired by a couple of weeks, she became ill and we had to reschedule our flight. The High Commission was not empathic, and my daughter could not travel on her own due to her illness Had it not been for the Diasporo Affairs we would have list a lot of monies to cancel the flight. The Diasporo Affairs enabled us to pay for an Emergency Visa, which meant my daughter dud not have to travel on her own
