Eligibility For the Visa on Arrival to Ghana
Travelers must be citizens of countries with reciprocal VOA agreements with Ghana. A list of eligible countries can be found on the Ghana Immigration Service website ( https://home.gis.gov.gh/ ).
Travelers must be directly involved with the GDAAR Foundation’s work, projects, or initiatives. This may include staff, volunteers, partners, or beneficiaries.
Application Process:
Notice: At least three (3) business days prior to intended travel, the traveler or a GDAAR Foundation representative must submit a notice of intent to utilize the VOA program by filling out the Form below. This notification will be sent to (the Ghana Diaspora Advocacy And Resource Foundation ).
Documentation: The notice should include the following information:
Approval:
Traveler’s full name
Photocopy of the Passport
Dates of arrival and departure
Purpose of visit (brief description of role within GDAAR Foundation activities)
The GDAAR Foundation will review the notice and confirm VOA eligibility.
Arrival Process
Upon arrival at Kotoka International Airport, proceed to the designated Visa on Arrival desk.
Present your passport, GDAAR Foundation approval confirmation, and any additional documentation required by standard VOA procedures.
The GDAAR Foundation’s VOA program does not guarantee visa issuance. Final approval remains at the discretion of immigration officials.
Travelers are advised to carry documentation demonstrating their affiliation with the GDAAR Foundation (e.g., invitation letter, project description, employment contract).
