The Ghana Diaspora Dialogue is an annual event that brings together stakeholders from Ghana and the Diasporas living in Ghana, relocating / visiting and Ghanaians living in the diaspora to discuss issues of mutual interest. The 2023 Dialogue will be held on October 17, 2023, in Accra, Ghana.

The theme of the 2023 Dialogue is “Diaspora Engagement for a Sustainable Ghana.” The Dialogue will focus on the following key areas:

Challenges of Diasporas in Ghana : An important opportunity to make a difference in the lives of global diasporas in Ghana. By discussing the challenges facing global diasporas in Ghana and by developing strategies to address them, helping to make Ghana a more welcoming and inclusive country for all.

The Ghana Diaspora Dialogue is an important opportunity for stakeholders to come together and discuss ways to strengthen the relationship between Ghana and the Diaspora. The Dialogue will provide a platform for sharing ideas and experiences, and for developing strategies to promote economic development, education, healthcare, and social development in Ghana.

Economic development: The Dialogue will explore ways to increase investment and trade between Ghana and the Diaspora.

Education: The Dialogue will discuss ways to improve access to quality education for Ghanaians in the Diaspora and Diasporas in Ghana.

Healthcare: The Dialogue will explore ways to improve access to quality healthcare for Ghanaians in the Diaspora and Diasporas in Ghana.

Social development: The Dialogue will discuss ways to promote social development in Ghana, including poverty reduction, gender equality, and environmental protection.

The Dialogue will feature a keynote address by the Director of Diaspora Affairs of the office of the Ghanaian President. Other resource people will include stakeholders that matters in the  affairs of Diasporas and the Diasporas in Ghana.

The Dialogue is open to all stakeholders, including Ghanaians in the Diaspora, Diasporas living in Ghana, and representatives from the Ghanaian government, the private sector, and civil society.
