Ghana Diaspora Advocacy and Resource (GDAAR) Foundation: Championing Diaspora Rights and Empowerment

The Ghana Diaspora Advocacy and Resource (GDAAR) Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights and interests of Ghanaians living abroad as well as Diasporans living in, relocating to, or visiting Ghana. Established in 2018, the Foundation was born out of a deep concern for the unique challenges faced by the Ghanaian diaspora community.

Our Mission

  • Information and Resources: Provide essential information and resources to empower Diasporans in Ghana, those relocating or visiting, and Ghanaians living abroad.
  • Advocacy: Champion the rights of Diasporans in Ghana and Ghanaians abroad through strong civil rights, political rights, and social justice advocacy.
  • Connection: Foster deep connections between the Diaspora and their Ghanaian roots, strengthening cultural ties.
  • Economic Empowerment: Promote economic development in Ghana through active participation, investment, and entrepreneurship from the Diaspora and Ghanaians living abroad.

How We Work

  • Comprehensive Website: A hub of information on Ghanaian culture, laws, and business opportunities tailored for the Diaspora.
  • Mentorship Program: Connecting Diasporans with experienced Ghanaians for guidance and support.
  • Business Incubator: Nurturing Diaspora-led entrepreneurship within Ghana.
